Travel was perfect--it's not an easy place to get to, but it was fun getting there. It was pretty cold, actually, by the time we got settled in Telluride, and it snowed a little the first night! My favorite shows were the first night--when Sam Bush played with Bela Fleck and Jerry Douglas and everyone else. We were absolutely exhausted by that point, but it was still great. Tony Rice was GREAT, Sam Bush and Yonder Mountain on Saturday were terrific. We met some great locals, some North Carolinians, and lots of otehr cool people from alllll over. The guys camping right next to us turned out to have been recent UGA grads, which was pretty funny. Spent a lot of time hiking and exploring around the area, too, and took the gondola over to Mountain Valley (It snowed when we got out at the top!) The last two days were picture perfect--weatherwise. I went to the Willie Nelson show at an amphitheater here in Atlanta last night and it made me remember just how beautiful Telluride was!

“Hey, I’d just like to say thank you so much for sending me to Telluride. It was awesome, the town, the people, the music, everything! Me and my dad had such a good time. I’m moving back out there to start up a band with a fiddle player I jammed with in the town. Oh, did I mention that everybody was jamming in the town all the time. You couldn’t walk down the streets without hearing an old time fiddle tune. Then, we got to go backstage and bump shoulders with all the musicians…and say “hey” to Chick and Bela…they were so humble and nice, got some good pictures and good memories and good times to come. All thanks you to guys. WE LOVE YOU WNCW!!!! Soon to be Coloradoian.

I've been madly in love with WNCW ever since I first moved to your listening area (the Greenville, S.C., part of it) in 1995. Sadly, I lost touch a little when I moved to Washington, D.C., in 2002 with a computer too crappy to do what it takes to listen online. Shamefully, our nation's capital has nothing like WNCW. Bluegrass music was hard to come by on the radio, and Americana was impossible to find on the Clear Channel-dominated airwaves.

Now I have a new computer -- good thing, too. I just moved to Tokyo, and I listen to WNCW online at work and home whenever I can. It really helps me keep in touch with the Americana and bluegrass music scene, and most importantly it gives me a little touch of home. So thanks for what you do, and thanks for making it available online. Someone in Tokyo is listening. :)

Just a short note to compliment you on the online streaming. I am currently on Green Turtle Cay in Abaco, Bahamas and keep WNCW playing on the computer. The locals are all asking: "where dat come from?". Keep up the good work.

To all the wonderful people at the best radio station in the whole world, Gas: $44.00. Room:$88.00. An evening at the Grey Eagle with Rodney Crowell: Priceless! Thanks for the tickets, it was truly one of the most enjoyable spur of the moment trips Kathie and I have made in a long time.(Definitely worth the 200 mile drive). We started listening to this station when we moved our son to Mars Hill College in August of 2001 and have been faithful listeners since, members since 2003. Please keep the music flowing and know that our membership renewal check was put in the mail today. Thanks again!

Thanks to WNCW, I won tickets for the first time in my life and I had the best experience of my ENTIRE LIFE! Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, March 18, at the Handlebar in Greenville, SC. Amazing show...and the opening band, Drover, was great! WNCW is the only radio station to which I listen, but I justified my minimum contribution because I am a student. However, come April, I will be contributing more! Thank you for being a fabulous radio station and bringing us the BEST music in the world…BLUEGRASS!

I have been a listener of WNCW for about six years and REALLY enjoy the broadcast. I listen every day while working and on weekends too.....especially "Going Across the Mountain". You guys have a really good team there and I can tell that it continues to improve. It must be a great environment to work in. It's hard to imagine a radio format that I would enjoy more than WNCW. I really enjoy the live artist sessions and wish they could be a bit longer. Keep up the great work.

I tuned in to WNCW on a trip to Asheville two weeks ago, loved your very "eclectic" format--plus an NPR station! --and have been listening online ever since! The samples from Crowd Around the Mic are great -- got to have it! Keep up the good work!

I just spent a week in North Carolina (my daughter’s trying to get into Western Carolina U) and spent the whole week listening to WCNW non-stop. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! I haven't enjoyed radio so much since KFAT went off the air 20 years ago!! And now I just discovered that I can continue to listen to WCNW here in Beijing (via the miracle of the internet). The only problem (of course) is that there's a 12-hr time difference which means I can only hear the early/mid-morning shows. Oh well, a little WCNW is better than nothing!! Thanks for this great station!

I really liked your station before... but after I heard you play Lori McKenna this morning - it's true LOVE. Thank you for playing such incredible music so consistently! We're moving to Asheville in a few years and I can't wait to get WNCW on my radio (I stream it from the internet now). You're the best!
